Much of my family live far from us, so we do quite a bit of traveling to visit them! I used to think I packed a lot before we had our first child, but now I have more than doubled what we used to bring! He’s still young enough to be in a crib, so he needs to have a place to sleep that he can’t roll off a bed or crawl away when he wakes up. While most portable cribs can fit in a car and travel pretty easily, they still can take up quite a bit of room.

- It is extremely light; lighter than most babies in fact! I love that the Traveller Cot from Phil and Ted’s is only 7 pounds. This makes it easier to bring from place to place, especially on an airplane when weight in your luggage can add up quickly.
- It is compact. It is only 27” long and folds up so small. If you usually pack a full car when you travel, the traveler cot can easily fit somewhere where you have a little extra space! It also is small enough that you may be able to fit in a large suitcase.
- It has mesh sides, and an optional add on mesh top for outdoor use. I love that this can be used indoors and outdoors and that there is an option to add a top on to make sure bugs stay away from baby while he sleeps.
- One of the mesh sides unzips, allowing little ones to crawl in and out. We have had this set up in our living room, and my little guy loves to use it as a place to bring his toys and books to play.
- Quick and easy to assemble! I love that it only takes a few minutes to put up and take down this traveler cot! It makes it easy to use and put away without confusing directions and lots of extra time.
