As a mother, I worry about what I put onto my child’s skin. With all the harmful bug repellents on the market, I have wondered what we would use to keep the mosquitos off of our little man as we hike. Thanks to the Buglet, I have found the perfect, safe alternative to traditional bug repellents.
We recently put the Buglet to the ultimate test. Hiking for 5 hours in a swampy forest in northern Michigan, we were constantly surrounded by mosquitoes. I could hear that annoying “bzzzzzzz” ringing in my ears and see them circling, just looking for the perfect place to land! Prior to going out, I had put a few drops of the Buglet essential oil repellent on the Buglet bracelet and put it on my son’s wrist.
I can honestly say that I am a firm believer in the Buglet! Watching those mosquitoes swarm us and never land was a huge relief. After 5 hours outdoors, my son only had 2-3 mosquito bites on him, and I believe those were gained AFTER he had taken the buglet off for about 45 minutes at the end of our hike… now THAT is “proof in the puddin’”
The essential oils have a pleasant (though pretty powerful) smell. I enjoyed the aroma and could both see and SMELL that it was working!
I would definitely recommend the Buglet to all of my friends… and to YOU!
