When I first found out that I was pregnant, the emotions that ran through me were many! From excitement to fear to unexplainable joy, I ran the full gamut of emotions in a single moment, but perhaps the strongest and most overwhelming feeling that I had was to protect the little life growing inside of me!
There are so many unknowns during a pregnancy that it can be a little scary. The mission of the March of Dimes is to “help moms have full-term pregnancies and research the problems that threaten the health of babies.” They want to teach moms to take charge of their health and maintain a healthy pregnancy – which in turn can lead to healthy babies!
Gro-Via has partnered Spray Pal and the March of Dimes to help raise awareness with their Little Warriors campaign. “Little Warriors was inspired by the youngest member of the Spray Pal family, Ryan Aprea, who was born at 25 weeks gestation. March of Dimes volunteers were tremendously helpful and supportive during the Apreas’ NICU experience, and when Spray Pal wanted to find a way to give back, a collaboration was born!” 10% of all Little Warrior purchases go to Ryan Apea’s March of Babies Team. Read Ryan’s story HERE.
With such a great cause and a beautiful purple color, we are proud to share with you Gro-Via’s Little Warrior diaper. Make a purchase today and help save lives!

June 17, 2015 at 12:00 pmThe only almost personal connection is the memory of collecting and delivering dimes to the Salvation Army when I was a kid. There was a procession when we brought back the coins we’d collected. It was a true March of Dimes!

June 17, 2015 at 4:29 amI have no personal experience with March of Dimes but I am a pharmacist working at a regional hospital that hosts a level 3 NICU. We take babies as young as 28 weeks gestation. I strive every day to ensure the medications we send to our youngest patients are correct so the parents have one less thing to worry about. I have experienced true heartbreak and have heard of miracles. The work that March of Dimes does is truly inspirational.

June 17, 2015 at 3:32 amOne of my good friends lost her premature daughter 3 weeks after she was born, just days after being released from the NICU. Such heart break is being fought by the March of Dimes. No one deserves to suffer such a loss.

Her second baby, was also born early, but thanks for the awesome NICU nurses and doctors, he’s a happy rambunctious 3 year old now. I’m so glad the March of Dimes exists to support babies and their families 🙂

June 16, 2015 at 7:51 pmI have a special spot in my heart for March of dimes. After having two normal pregnancies, My water spontaneously broke and I gave birth to my third daughter at 33 weeks. It was extremely hard on me, as I was so used to bringing my babies home with me. She struggled a bit to eat at first and was in the nicu for 2.5 weeks. She’s now a very healthy, 17lb five month old. I look back at those first few hard months, and I can see how much I’ve grown from the struggle!
