twingaroo is the perfect stuff4multiples!

I seriously love babywearing… the freedom that it affords you is priceless. I can not tell you the number of times that my little man was teething and just wanted to be held closely. As much as I would love to sit on the couch and snuggle all day, as a mother and wife that just isn’t possible all the time. Rather than trying to get something done with a little one clawing up my leg, I can just pick him up and put him in a carrier and STILL have 2 hands to get things accomplished.

Twingaroo CollageI only have one child, BUT you moms of multiples… you are rockstars! I recently had the opportunity to review a product that I think will make your day easier. The Twingaroo from Stuff4Mulitples is an ergonomic carrier that allows you to carry two children at one time. The ergonomic shape of the carrier is important for hip development (you can read more about that HERE). From everything that I have seen on the market specifically for carrying multiple children, this simple ergonomic design makes the Twingaroo a cut above the rest!

What’s great about the Twingaroo is the fact that the design allows you to carry children of different weights safely. The weight is distributed well… the weight of the heavier child does not pull down on the lighter child. If you only need to carry one child, the front carrier unclips and rolls into a “fanny pack” of sorts on the waist belt. When your 2nd child wants up, simple pull the front carrier out and you’ve got an extra carrier!

The seats on the Twingaroo are not very wide, but I gave this carrier to a friend who has twins and she is able to comfortably use it with her 18 month old girls. It doesn’t spread knee to knee, but they are still in an M-position that helps support hip development.

If you are especially thin (like myself), I found that the carrier wouldn’t secure around my waist… It was too big. BUT there is a way to make it work. You simply have to secure the back carrier first and then secure the front carrier around your waist, rather than buckling it in as one piece – like this it is two totally separate carriers.

My friend who so graciously modeled this carrier (and now owns it) says that her favorite feature is the backpack! It allows you to put a few diapers and wipes in it without having to carry an additional diaper bag. She loves this for quick “ups” and running into the store 🙂 She definitely gave this two thumbs up and would recommend it for moms with multiples!

[…] I only have one child, but someday I hope to have more! In the mean time, I have lots of girl friends who have multiple children that are constantly looking for ways to get things done. You only have 2 arms, and if they are both filled with children, getting chores done around the house or grocery shopping or (fill in the blank) can be difficult! The Twingaroo helps take the stress off of your arms AND your mind… check out my full review on The SIMPLE Moms by clicking HERE!! […]

I think this is great! With a baby on each side, it definitely equals out the weight to make them easier to hold.

This is really nice–I’ve wondered how people with twins do babywearing.
