The only thing better than being a kid during the Christmas season, is having kids during the Christmas season. The holidays are such an exciting time of year! As a parent, there is nothing more special than watching your children experience the magic of the season!
In our house, we have children ages 8, 5 and 4. Our kiddos are the prime age for really getting into the magic of Christmas. That’s why I was so excited to give the iSantaCam a try. “The iSantaCam is a novelty camera—not an actual video recording device—providing Santa a magical portal to watch over all the good little boys and girls, the true believers of holiday magic. The big guy will be watching, but mere mortals will not ever record or see any video.”
The iSantaCam features a blue-tooth LED panel on which messages from the North Pole are displayed. The device comes with 60 pre-programmed messages from Santa and the elves, but the real fun begins when “other North Pole staff”…ahem…parents or grandparents…begin to send personalized messages to their kids. These messages can be generated using the remote control that is included with the iSantaCam, or the free iSantaCam app, which can be downloaded on iOS or Android devices that are iBluetooth v4.0 compatible.
We have had the iSantaCam in our house for about a week now. When it first arrived, two of my children were beyond excited to have received a package from the North Pole. My daughter, however, who tends to be a bit on the mischievous side, was not at all happy for Santa to have a direct view of her behavior. Let’s be real here. As a parent, I saw this as a perfect opportunity to enforce some positive behavior! A quick message from Santa, and our kids are hurrying around the house to get their chores done!
The excitement of receiving messages from Santa doesn’t seem to be wearing off anytime soon, either. Our kids look forward to hearing from the North Pole each day, and they love to hear updates on the preparations taking place leading up to Christmas.
The iSantaCam has also been a great educational tool for our second grader who tends to need a little extra help with reading. When messages come across from Santa, he is eager to read what they say, and doesn’t even realize he’s practicing his reading skills. That’s a win in my book!
Our family has gotten much enjoyment out of the iSantaCam, and I am confident that it will be a tradition we continue for years to come. If you are looking to add more Christmas magic to your home, I would highly recommend ordering an iSantaCam for your family.
What are some holiday traditions you have in your home? Is the iSantaCam something you would add to your holiday fun? Let me know what you think!

November 21, 2015 at 9:49 pmI never had anything like the iSantaCam growing up and neither have my kids. However, this year I just ordered an Elf on the Shelf and the iSantaCam would compliment it personally. Since we told our son Santa is sending sn Elf from the Northpole to keep an eye on you. This could really aide in our story line!! Thank you for this great giveaway! Our son is also in second grade and I love the fact they can read the messages for extra practice! My kids would be thrilled with an iSantaCam.🎄🎁🎅
