It’s been twenty years since I’ve visited the church from my childhood but I can still describe to you every single detail of how it was decorated for Christmas every single year. Just thinking about it, I can even smell the oranges the ladies from the church placed in the goodie bags they gave to each of us kids as we left the Christmas Eve service.
And then, walking home (our church was just a few doors down from us) and finding our house filled with family, presents, and platters of food; all ready for our Christmas celebration. I cherish those memories.
While the memories and traditions we’re making with our own kids are a bit different from those of my childhood, I still hope that they are ones that my kids will hold on to for years and years.
Deeply rooted in holiday traditions, Hickory Farms, America’s most famous holiday food gift brand, continues to encourage families to not only embrace and pass down those family holiday traditions from generation to generation but also to create new traditions as your family grows and changes.
