Woven in the herringbone pattern, this wrap is both classic and modern intertwined into one. A pattern that has been around for ages becomes new and exciting when paired with the gorgeous color of orange! I’ll be honest, I let me husband pick the color of this wrap… I know what you might be thinking, “You let your HUSBAND pick the color? You are a brave woman!” But with so many great color options to choose from, I just couldn’t narrow it down myself. When he said orange, I was a little unconvinced… until it came in the mail that is! Wow. The color of this wrap is so much more than just orange. It’s like snuggling in a soft sunset or watching the fall leaves twist and turn their way through the air. It’s breathtaking. It’s beautiful.
So back to the herringbone weave. This classic weave offers wonderful support. There is amazing diagonal stretch that perfectly forms to you and your child. It’s like you are giving it a hug and it is hugging you right back! The drape is fabulous too. You would think that a wrap weighing in at 300 g/m2 would be excessively heavy with a large knot, but not this wrap! Elegant. That is the only word that I think perfectly describes the drape of this wrap.
Combine this weave with the fibers and you have yourself a killer duo! This is my first experience with Tencel. Tencel goes one step beyond organic cotton and is produced from eucalyptus trees grown on farm. Highly sustainable, it is also great for sensitive skin… it absorbs moisture 50% greater than cotton so this means that your skin stays dry and you are able to avoid rashes. Add in the antibacterial factor and you have yourself a winner! Personally, all of these attributes are awesome, but what wows me the most is the feel… This has to be THE softest wrap that I have EVER felt after one wash. It practically shimmers it is so soft.
Kind on your shoulders, blankety soft, perfect mouldability… this wrap deserves a lot of praise! So head on over to Poe Wovens and pick out your favorite color herringbone wrap.
