As our family has expanded over the years, my husband and I have found the need to keep our little ones warm and comfortable. When your littles aren’t happy… let’s just say, hiking isn’t quite as enjoyable as it could be! That is why I am super excited about Cozey7.
Designed by parents just like us, my husband and I love the mission of Cozey7… keeping our family and YOURS outside and active, even during chilly weather! I had the opportunity to see the Trailhopper first hand. I wish our newest little one was here to sport this versatile outdoor apparel, but alas, I still have to wait a couple months! I can tell this Trailhopper is going to be wonderful though!
The Polartec Fleece is bound to keep my little one warm on chilly fall and winter days. The fabric is very soft and “cozey!” I love that this fabric is perfect for use with baby carriers. No slippery materials to deal with when trying to carry your child. The foot cuff are something that I am excited about with this design. Keeping extremities warm is always the hardest thing to do when it is cold outside. The foot cuffs can cover socks or shoes, keeping in extra warmth. The fact that this Trailhopper doesn’t have sleeves is perfect. The most important part of the body to keep warm is the core, BUT you also need the versatility to remove a jacket and allow your child to cool down if they get too warm. It’s a great design!
I love that the Trailhopper packs down into a stuff sack. Simply clip it onto your hiking pack, and you’ll have it available whenever you need a little added warmth for you child. The only “downside” to this design is the carabiner…. it is incredibly heavy duty. Maybe a little TOO heavy duty. When my husband and I pack out trail packs, we are constantly looking for ways to eliminate weight. The carabiner is very heavy, but it was simple enough to switch out with one of our own 🙂
So if you are a family on the go and love being outside, I would HIGHLY suggest checking out Cozey7 and keep yourselves active!
