Every so often, I come across a product and I think, “other moms NEED to know about this!” Sometimes it’s because the product will make a mom’s job easier, sometimes it’s because the product will reduce the worry factor that all of us moms endure on some level, and other times it’s because the product will increase the safety of the sweet little ones in our lives! Once in awhile, I come across a product that meets all three of these qualities!
Today, I’d like to share with you the zip slicer, part of the prepworks line by Progressive. This fabulous kitchen tool is a lifesaver, literally and figuratively! As a mom to three small children, I am constantly cutting up snacks so my kiddos don’t choke. Think grapes. It feels like it takes forever to cut up grapes for three kids who claim they’re starving for a snack. It’s stressful to try to quickly cut anything under pressure, and if your kids are anything like mine, they eat way faster than I can slice!
Not anymore! I was so excited to find Progressive’s zip slicer! This sleek little tool is complete genius. It can slice multiple grapes or cherry tomatoes in a matter of seconds, it shaves precious time off of my snack time routine, and most importantly, it keeps snack time safe for my children. Lets talk about hot dogs…anyone have a fear of their kids choking on a hot dog? The zip slicer will cut those, too. No more choking hazards with the zip slicer around!
This handy gadget is a must have in the kitchen. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and takes up very little storage space. Just like it promotes safety during snack time, it promotes safety during use. The zip slicer is designed with a blade encased by a hand grip, so slicing is made completely safe. I’ve found that anything I’m slicing with the zip slicer, is done way faster and much safer than the old fashioned way of cutting one by one with a sharp knife. The zip slicer is a great product and definitely gets my recommendation.
