Where does your vehicles take you? Do they take you on long road trips or short trips around town? I’m willing to bet it does it all. Being a mom now to three kids, life is more interesting when trying to fit them all in the car for short trips and long trips.
I got to enjoy a 2016 Mazda CX-5 for a week. With us having one car (our choice), it was fun to have a second car to buzz around in. The kids loved it and it was pretty zippy. It had some get up and go when I needed it. While this vehicle had several features that I loved here are a few that stood out to me.
Five favorite features of the 2016 Mazda CX-5 ::
- Keyless entry – I love the fact that when the car is locked and all I have to do is have the key on me to press a little button on the door handle and the door unlocks. It’s amazing when you have 3 bags to carry and an infant car seat and you don’t have to struggle to get to the bottom of your purse for keys.
- Spacious back seat – I was able to fit my three kids all in a row in the backseat. One infant car seat, a booster seat and then my older son in the regular seat.
- Large trunk area – You can fit quite a bit of stuff in the trunk of this vehicle. Love having all that space for groceries, luggage or large boxes. Lay down the back seat for more area.
- Fancy look – I know looks are not everything when it comes to cars, but just look at this vehicle. It’s pretty nice looking. I loved the rims it had on it.
- Easy to figure out – I loved that it had easy features to figure out. Such as syncing up my phone, finding radio stations and even reading the gas gauge. It’s all about the small details that make it worth the drive for me.
All in all, I really liked this vehicle. It is a fun sporty looking car that would be perfect for most families. It would be comfortable on a long drive if that’s what you do as well. If you are on the search for a new car, I would definitely check out the Mazda CX-5.
Special thanks to @DriveShop for letting me expierence the class of the Mazda CX-5.
Disclosure: I was provided the opportunity to test drive the 2016 Mazda CX-5 through DriveShop for one week, however all opinions are my own.
