I find that our summer schedule so far is CRAZY. And, there is absolutely nothing consistent about it. I always go into summer thinking I am going to have a schedule. Each week we are going to do the same thing, daily, so it’s predictable for the kids. Then…summer happens.

A typical day in our home starts with whenever we wake up, at whatever time that is. Then we lolligag around until we decide to eat breakfast. From there, we talk about what we want to do that day and set a plan. I start picking up, doing a little laundry, go get groceries, etc. However, after we decide what we are going to do, we typically change it at the drop of a hat if something great comes to mind. This summer we have spent a lot of time at the pool we are members of. Not only there, but we have visited some friends’ pools as well as the lake.

All that being said, I have a bag in the back of my car that goes wit his everywhere. I have to be prepared otherwise I’d go broke this summer having to run into the store each time we change our mind. Ha! So…let’s talk about our summer go bag! I’ve share other “go-bags” with you here on the blog, but this is what we have goin’ on this summer!

Sunscreen. Obviously.

The bag. I need a bag that can hold it all, and once again, that bag is from Vera Bradley. My go-to for oh.so.many reasons!

Easy peasy snacks. In my summer go-bag I have snacks that can withstand the heat and won’t go bad. So, nothing that can melt or get squished easily. Veggie sticks and pretzels are with us wherever we go!

Wipes. To go with the snacks, I need wipes to clean up messes as well as ones that I can use to clean up baby messes. Ha! Multi purpose.
