dressing up as a *cute* witch for halloween :: options from chasing fireflies

Cute costumes are a must when it comes to Halloween. I don’t like the gore, the darkness, the revealing nature of many costumes…and on and on. Being that I’m raising four girls, I try to keep things as modest and cute as long as possible. I mean, pretty soon they will be picking their own costumes and I’ll have ZERO say in the matter. So, for now, we do it together. We talk as a family and decide, it’s really a super fun time!

This year is a first for my girls. I’ve allowed them to pick witch costumes. I’m normally all like…heck no! But for some reason, this year was different. I think it was because we found some absolutely adorable witch costumes, and when we did, my 5-year old says…

“Don’t worry Mom, we are GOOOODDDD witches!”

Sold. Have any “good” witch you want, because that was adorable!

We had the opportunity to team up with Chasing Fireflies this season to share some great Halloween costumes. If you recall, we have shared Chasing Fireflies a lot. It’s our go-to for Halloween costumes, as well as Christmas related things too. What we found this year was AMAZING.

Chasing Fireflies actually has a lot of options for cute witches. Sure, you can go with the darker angles as well, but with the age of my little ladies, that wasn’t what I was looking for. Let’s share, but for starters, the quality of these costumes are incredible. Plus, if you time it right, you can purchase items when they are having sales!

When my youngest first saw the Candy Corn Witch Costume, that was it. She didn’t waver from that and was SO excited when it came. 

My 5-year old had a harder time to choose. She went from being Little Red Riding Hood (because big sister was going to be the big, bad wolf), but eventually landed on the Candy Witch Costume. This costume and the accessories that came along with the set suits her quite well. Again, a super adorable option for a witch costume!
