Now that we have Halloween behind us, it’s time to start mental noting cool toys as we start our holiday shopping. Fright Factory by Tech4Kids makes my list of gifts I would buy for a birthday or Christmas gift. It’s fun for boys or girls! Did you see our FB LIVE video a few weeks ago? We showed everyone just how easy it is to create frightfully fun critters out of gel.
I like toys that the kids can use independently. I don’t mind getting them started, but I want them to be able to play on their own. Fright Factory is 3 easy steps to create frightfully fun creatures out of gel.
- Fill the molds with EwwGoo (stencils and goo included)
- Flash the goo with the UV light (crank the wheel)
- Frightful creatures are done in minutes (pop them out of the mold when hardened)
My kids LOVED making 3D creepy creations. There are lots of stencils included. You just need the Fright Factory kit and 3 AA batteries to get started. The EwwGoo drying time required a bit of patience as you crank the UV light back and forth to cure the gel, but the kids didn’t mind. They took turns cranking until their 3D bugs were ready. Of course they got me a few times hiding them around the house. (EVIL LAUGHTER erupts from my kids) They are not realistic creatures, I’m just a bug wimp.
