Most of you know I’m pretty picky about what I put on my body. Since our skin is our largest organ and absorbs the chemicals we put on it, I like to keep my skincare routine as green as I can. That means no parabens, no sulfates and no fragrance. But, don’t worry, it’s definitely possible to have safe skincare that works!
I’ve been using SwissVita for almost a month now. Not only is it free of parabens, sulfates and fragrance, but it also has a powerful ingredient called AC-11. Don’t worry–it only sounds like a chemical! It’s actually taken from the inner bark of an Uncaria Tomentosa vine. Sound foreign? That’s because it is! This vine is found in the Amazon rainforest and is known for repairing and restoring skin!
SwissVita has a whole line of facial skin care products–from cleanser to serum to moisturizer and eye cream. They even have products to correct dark spots and lighten skin that may be hyperpigmented from skin damage. I’ve been using the eye cream, the anti-aging serum and the anti-wrinkle cream. I love that they all work together to keep my skin healthy!
What I love about the eye cream is it’s thin, almost like a gel–which means a little goes a long way. This bottle is going to last a long time! It also makes it easy to wear under makeup! I’ve noticed my eyes seem a bit less puffy when I use it and a lot of the reviews note a decrease in dark circles as well. The anti-wrinkle cream is more of a thick serum. I love to use this at night to really rehydrate my skin while I sleep! It’s full of great stuff–macadamia seed oil, hyaluronic acid and collagen work away at my wrinkles. Love it! The anti-aging serum might be my favorite of the three I’ve tried. This one is thin, so a little goes a long way, and wears well under makeup. And my skin is feeling so soft! I feel like this time of winter, my skin starts getting rough and often has red patches from being chapped from the wind and cold. But this year I’m super happy with how my skin feels.
