There are some parents who enjoy dressing their baby up every day, and others are happy if their child manages to keep their sweatpants on. I gravitate toward dressier clothes for myself, so I guess it’s no surprise that my favorite baby outfits are on the dressier side too. If it was entirely up to me, our son would wear only sweater vests and loafers during the week, but my husband likes camouflage and boots. Of course, kids do need to be able to move and play comfortably, so our baby ends up wearing a mix of button-down shirts, camouflage, and around-the-house “comfy” clothes. However, this outfit from Little Me is an example of my favorite style.
I’m not sure if it’s normal to want my baby to look like a college professor, but I’m completely in love with the bow tie, collared shirt, and woven pants. So dapper. When babies wear clothes that an adult could just as easily wear, I’m charmed. I love the nautical flair, and our little guy didn’t seem to mind his dressed up look! Since discovering this brand, I have seen clothing from Little Me at Marshall’s and Costco. They have some really cute things – another of my favorite outfits on their website comes with a classic yellow raincoat (I tried to get my hands on it, but it was out-of-stock). If you aren’t into the adult look for babies, they have plenty of more casual items you’d love too, as well as a ton of VERY cute layette for newborns.
