In the mind of Emily the child, my mom knew all things and was the keeper of all things. I had no worries, because my mom was the responsible adult. She generally had everything I needed when I needed it. The granola bar when I was hungry, the sunscreen on a sunny day, the band-aid when I scraped my knee. Much could also be written on my grandmother, who carries a large purse filled with everything a human could possibly desire in any situation. I am convinced that my grandmother could bug out for a week in ease with only the contents of her purse. Now that I have a baby of my own, I’ve come to the realization that I must be the responsible adult who I looked up to as a child. It’s a daunting thought. However, I have my first aid supplies covered, thanks to this adorable little kit.

The kit is small and lightweight which makes it easier to cart around without obtaining a bag the size of my (fabulous!) grandma’s purse.
