hard candy color correct primer & expert stick :: giveaway

disclaimer giveaway

When I became a mom, I had no idea how my time would no longer be my own. My kids are old enough now that I can usually get out the door with mascara on both eyes, but I do sympathize if you are in the stage of motherhood when you may get interrupted 452 times when you are trying to get ready for the day. Even in my busiest and most interrupted times with little ones, I’ve always been the type of person that puts on makeup each day. It makes me feel put together enough to face whatever the day may hold {pun intended}. That being said, I enjoy makeup and I love working on reviews for Hard Candy. However, I am not a makeup model. I will leave the photos to the professionals and share what I’ve learned from @Kaylahagey.

As I get older, my skin has changed from struggles with acne to battles with weird colors, wrinkles, and occasional break outs. I have been following Hard Candy on Instagram and learning some tips and tricks for applying makeup. I wear my makeup in a very natural way, I’m not big on colors and smoky eyes, but there is a time and place for that once and a while in my life. Hard Candy makeup can be as subtle or pronounced as you want it to be. I have been using the color correct primer on a very regular basis. It’s fast to dab some peach primer under my dark eyes and draw the expert stick on my rosy nose. It adds 30 seconds to my makeup routine. If you like to play with your makeup, I recommend watching the video below. The transformation is amazing.

Hard Candy is affordable and available at your local Walmart. It’s definitely worth a try if you need to neutralize any colors on your face. Here is a bit more info on how to use the primer:
