One of my favorite things about watching my little guy grow up is seeing his imagination grow! I love catching those moments where he is so involved in whatever he is playing that I can tell he’s using that amazing little imagination to create something that he thinks is so fun! His sister is little, but there are times he can convince her to go right along with him in his pretend truck to explore and look for treasure!
Antsy Pants Build and Play kits are designed to help kids learn how to build and connect and imagine! Our kit arrived on the perfect rainy Saturday, and the kids and their uncle had it put together in no time. The kids then spent much time over the next few rainy days in and out of their pirate ship. They took turns driving, ate their lunches inside, and just enjoyed pretending they had their own little ship in our playroom.
I love this simple concept! It’s perfect that as they grow a little older they will also be able to enjoy following directions to put together a pre-designed idea, or connecting and building to make something unique! Here’s a couple of my favorite features:
So Easy to Assemble
The kits come in 3 different sizes, and come with all the poles and connectors needed to make several designs. The directions are very simple to follow, and the color coded pieces make it the perfect way to help kids learn to follow instructions to build. We used the large kit to make our pirate ship and had it completely assembled in about 15 minutes!
Encourages Imagination
I love the ideas that Antsy Pants offers, and it’s great that you can even have a cover to go right along with the ideas they give for building. The fabric cover for our pirate ship is a lot of fun! They also offer some fun tent covers, as well as lemonade stand and donut shop covers. Even without the covers kids can create and design something of their own! They can build their favorite fort, or create a puppet stage using sheets or blankets around the house! The options to create are limitless!
Durable Build
As we first began to assemble the pirate ship, I wondered if the poles and connectors would hold up to the play of little ones. I found after it was all set up that it really does. The kids were not always gentle getting in and out, but the ship stayed intact throughout the hours they played. The poles and connector system used is excellent.
While my kids enjoyed a pirate ship this weekend, this week may bring something new like a car to get to their favorite store, or a tent to sleep out under the stars! This kit will let their imagination work and give them days of fun!
