I got to create and design my own 8×8 photo book from shutterfly. I have several of these types of books of my son so I had to get started on one for my daughter and this was a great opportunity to do so. I did her 0-6 months of age in pictures. (I have a ton of pictures so I have to do it in sections.) The program was very easy to use and it had so many options as far as themes, backgrounds and embellishments. The layouts were super easy to insert your pictures, just drag and drop. They had so many different layouts and you could use just about as many pictures and you wanted to on a page. Love that because I have a lot of pictures and of course I wanna use them all.
I used one of the themes from shutterfly to make my book simple and easy. It was definitely just that. When I received the book, I was so pleased with it and it made me smile. My boyfriend actually claimed it before I even saw it. The pages are exactly what I saw when I was making it…Nothing was cut off.
I love that you can put one photo on the whole page or a ton of them. It is hard to decide which photo to use so why not use them all.
And if you want to take the easy way out then you can upload all your photos and have the software insert them into the book for you. How cool is that.
At shutterfly you are able to create many other wonderful products such as shower invitations, announcements, photo greeting cards, Christmas cards and birthday invitations. Christmas is coming soon so it would be a great time to get your Christmas cards done.
