My other half has been asking for a truck for the longest time. What is it with men and trucks? I know there are some women that loves trucks as well though. I have to admit after driving the Toyota Tundra quad cab for a week, almost has me convinced I want one. Boy, he would love that. I am sure you are thinking there is not way that would fit a family of 5. Read on, my friends!
Let me tell you this truck is a beast. It has some serious power! The Toyota Tundra does what a decent truck should do – it hauls, tows, and even goes off road. In that sense, it’s good. It also has a few perks. If you want a truck with lots of standard features, you’ll get that with the Tundra. It comes loaded with Bluetooth, a rear view camera, and an easy-to-use infotainment system with a touch-screen display. No other full-size pickup in this class comes standard with all these features. The Tundra’s also good when you move off road.
Now, as I said before, I wasn’t keen on ever getting a truck for our family. But after driving this, I can really see us getting one due to it being a lot more spacious and comfortable for us to be in.
- Big Engine – The Tundra is one of the few trucks in this class that offers a standard V8 engine.
-
Assembled in America – To build a machine as tough as the Toyota Tundra, it takes a nation. That’s why you can feel the pride that goes into crafting each and every Tundra
-
Interior design -The optimal blend of functionality and comfort, Tundra’s spacious cabin gives you and your crew plenty of room to stretch out. Premium materials are used throughout for an upscale feel, and an intuitive control layout puts your tech right where you need it.
- Large quad cab – The back seat was very spacious and was able to fit all three of my kids in a row with a car seat and booster seat. There was plenty of leg room to spare. It was perfect for a little trip to go sledding when we had a big downfall.
- Good gas mileage – For a truck, this had really great gas mileage. It was great for my week of running around.
With all these amazing features plus more, would would hold you back from getting a truck? The stance is pretty high on these so getting into it wasn’t too big a of a challenge but I did need a little boost sometimes when getting in. I would definitely not let that deter me from getting one of these beasts. What was even more amazing is that it drove through or plowed through the snow like a dream. I didn’t have any issues driving in the snow. I felt very safe and was glad it handled very well with the snow storm we got while I had this for a week!
Do you own a truck? What is your favorite feature? Would you consider getting a truck?
