a day in the life of…

Now, I know this isn’t our typical type of post, but I wanted you to get an idea of one simple mom’s life looks like. Do you ever just sit and wonder what everyone else does in a day? I love following people on Instagram and watching stories thru their day. Sometimes, I sit and wonder what does everyone do, I’m just nosy like that. Are they a stay at home mom, what do they do all day? (Not as a bad thing, just truly what do they do in a day) As a working mom, I’m sure some people do wonder what I do all day. I wear a lot of hats in our family and it isn’t the traditional style of home you would think. Working mom and stay at home dad is how we roll!! What is your family dynamic like?

A day in the life of ME.  There is so much that goes on in the day.  I do work 40 hours a week outside of the home in a doctor’s office. I also have three kids, so mom and dad life are busy, as I’m sure you are all in the same boat. You guys, I get up at 5:00 am (most days) to get myself ready for work and the kids ready for school.  Hair alone for 3 people takes at least 45 minutes of my morning. Then, I am off to be to work by 6:45 am. I work 4 days a week and have my Friday’s off and I love it!! Throughout my day, I am taking care of patients and handling anything that needs to happen for the family. Whether it be coordinating rides and pick ups or appointments.

Throughout my day, I am also working the blog and creating content. My mind is always running and thinking of creative ideas. We all have to make the side hustle somehow right? Who doesn’t have a side hustle they are working? It’s 2020 people get with the times and get you a side hustle. Anyways, getting home from work is always busy times. We have both girls in dance two nights a week and my son just started swim.  I can’t forget about mama getting in the me” time, which means working out for 30-60 minutes at night. And dinner, who has time for that. I have an amazing man that typically has that ready when I get home.

A day in the life of, Jaime, isn’t anything special. It’s what we do and how our life goes.  Besides a mama trying to keep to her calorie count with myFitnessPal and her steps going on Fitbit, I’m just a normal keep to herself kind of mama. I am not a very outgoing person and I don’t like much drama. Gimmie my skinny keto coffee every morning and I am a happy person.
