a lovely dress that can be dressed up + dressed down

You all know I’m a fan of Matilda Jane. What I love the most about them is that they are constantly adding new things to their inventory! That is both good AND bad, because, well….my budget. Ha! Regardless, I know I’ll be purchasing a few things per season because their style is so fun, modern and fresh. My girls LOVE their clothes, and to be honest, they are some of my favorites on them. They are just plain fun!!

But, what I’m finding out is that not many ladies out there know that Matilda Jane has outfits for us ladies too! My closet keeps growing, filling up with Matilda Jane outfits, like my daughters’ does. Take these few outfits for example. Fun, right?

I received a perfect dress for me. Why is it perfect you may ask? Well…my favorite color is purple and the main colors in the dress are purple. Not only that, but it’s very flattering due to the pattern on the dress. If I’m having a “bloated” day, you can’t tell! It’s great lol!!

I took this dress from a casual, date night look…

Just with the addition of some shoes, accessories and a different cardigan/denim jacket. Side note, seriously, the denim jacket. It’s my absolute fav!! I have this now in this washed denim look and a darker one. They are from Kohl’s and they also released one this Spring that doesn’t have a collar.

I should have shown you what the straps look like. They are a fun, reversible thicker (twisted fashion) strap that is the same material as the dress. Super cute! I don’t typically bear my arms, so the thought didn’t cross my mind until I was writing the post for you all! So, please accept my apology.
