While, yes, we are talking about Christmas this week on the blog, it’s the first day of our #aSIMPLEchristmas, Christmas event. I couldn’t help but share this company with you. It’s not a new company, it’s been around a while. I used to look at the catalog and circle many things I would want. YET…it is new to the blog. Why haven’t I shared this company before now?!?!? Chadwicks of Boston has fantastic clothing for a great price and awesome fashion sense. Let’s think about yourself this season too for a moment. You can GIVE it as a gift, and still justify purchasing it for yourself too for all the parties and events you have. It just makes sense!
I remember when I worked a full time job out of the house, wearing blazers and items like that occurred often. Now, I don’t wear these as much…but I still have a love for them. They are so classic, and you can do so much with them!
Today, I’m sharing with you the Classic Blazer in a fun plaid color that can be worn a handful of ways. I am showing off three ways you can wear it….
I first wanted to figure out a way to wear this in my “mom” role. When I’m out running errands, or when I have a coffee date with a friend. Something that’s easy and put together, yet a little more than a nice tunic with leggings. So, I knew it had to have skinny jeans and a comfy shirt underneath. Non restricting for sure as I would most likely be carting kiddos with me.

The second look is a more dressy look. Something I could wear to a work Christmas party or another holiday event. Adding the red boots sure add an element for anything Christmas. Plus, it makes the red in the blazer pop a little more, in my opinion. I think, when wanting to dress up an outfit, it’s all about the accessories. Imagine this outfit with no jewelry. Just wouldn’t have the same effect, would it?

The last look is somewhere in between. Again, it’s all about the accessories. I love the boots and I think they made this outfit complete. I think it’s simply perfect for Fall!

Dressy.
Casual.
In between.
I think we have covered it all! Well, almost. I should have shown you a way to wear this with a dress. I totally flaked on that. BUT…no fear. My friend Carly over at Thirty Something Fashion did just that!
What do you think? Would you attempt a plaid blazer like I shared with you today? What style do you relate with the most?
