The word “hijinks” is defined by dictionary.com as “lively enjoyment.” And that is exactly what I witnessed as my kiddos laughed and interacted with the Pound Puppies’ holiday offering, aptly entitled “Pound Puppies: Holiday Hijinks.” Do you remember the Pound Puppies from when you were little? Because I sure do! I ALWAYS wanted my own stuffed pup….they were so cuddly and cute and each one had their own adoption paperwork so you knew that that puppy was yours forever. Well, the pups have returned with a series featuring those lovable pups and now you can own the DVD….just in time for Christmas! The motto of the Pound Puppies is: “A pup for every person and a person for every pup.” So fittingly, the theme of this DVD is that each pet that wanders into Shelter 17 (the Pound Puppies’ hideout) finds a home for the holidays.
