My two big kids are not fans of potatoes. Except for french fries. They can go for some french fries. So I decided to whip up a healthier batch at home and all of the kids love them. It doesn’t get much easier than this recipe.
2. Wash and cut potatoes into small wedges or fries. {A SIMPLE Tip: I found an apple slicer worked great for this step. I just ended up slicing the “core” piece once lengthwise so the fries would be closer to the size of the other pieces.}
3. Arrange the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and rosemary to taste. Feel free to play around a bit and add any herbs and spices that sound great to you! I don’t have a set amount I use–I just give a good sprinkle of everything. {I often add a bit more salt after they’re done baking}
4. Bake about 35 minutes, stirring once partway through, until golden brown.
5. Enjoy!
Easy as that. My kids even finished their salmon and salad in order to have seconds of these yummy fries!
