I remember purchasing my first diaper bag when I was pregnant with my first, and thinking I was looking for something cute that had spaces for all the things I thought I would be carrying! It’s amazing how your idea of what you might need changes as you experience things in life. That house you built before kids would look totally different if you designed it now. The layout of your organization system would look a little different if you knew how you were actually going to use it. Your ideal diaper bag in your mind before kids doesn’t have the pockets for what becomes a reality to what you really need for you and your baby!
I love my new Gitta Trend Diaper bag. It is obvious it was designed by a mom who knew just what moms would be carrying around with them. I love the style of it, and often carry it with me when I am not even with my littles. Some of my favorite features of the bag are:
- Outside Bottle Holders: I love that the bottle/cup holders on the outside. It makes them easy to grab, and in case of spills, it doesn’t get on the whole bag.
- Large Main Compartment: The main compartment which you will access the most has a zippered close and a very wide opening making it easy to find what you need. There are also several inside pockets to help you keep things organized.
- Cell Phone Compartment: Keeping my cell phone handy and away from all the other contents of a diaper bag is important to me. This bag has the perfect place to keep your phone!
- Attached Changing Mat: I’ve misplaced the changing pads from most of my other diaper bags and often found myself without it when I need it. I love that there is a zippered compartment that rolls the changing pad right out of the bag.
- Key Clips Inside: Inside the bag, there are clips to keep things like keys and pacifiers from getting lost on the bottom of the bag. This has been so helpful for me as I felt like I was always looking for keys!
- Carrying Options: This bag can be carried over the shoulder or as a backpack. I love that you have different options depending on the circumstance. The padded shoulder straps can be hidden when not in use.
Gitta carries several different styles, along with kids backpacks. You can check them out here on their site or order over on Amazon. I love the Trend, but think some of the other styles look amazing too!
