a style collaboration :: how to wear a sweater vest this spring

Spring. Dare I say it’s here? Oh how I wish!! With spring on my mind, I’m constantly thinking about changing out my closet…making it more warm weather friendly. I have yet to do that, but I am brining in things, and not taking any out. Needless to say it’s getting a little crammed in there. What I added most recently is a fun piece, something I was quite intrigued by. I LOVE the idea of a sweater/cardigan, heck I’ve wrote about it a number of times. Most recent, I collaborated with some very stylish bloggers on a boyfriend cardigan inspired post. So now, again, with warmer temperatures in mind, a handful of style bloggers (who are all moms too!!) decided to take on the challenge of styling a sweater vest from Chadwick’s of Boston.

Here’s where I want to take some time. We all did a DIFFERENT look. So, you aren’t going to see us all styling it with jeans. Our attempt was to get our readers thinking and seeing how this piece could fit in YOUR closet with YOUR style! Plus, sizing is generous. I’m typically a medium, and I received a small in the boyfriend sweater vest we are featuring today. That is a great thing because…layers! Oh, and lots of colors to choose from! I would dare say their boyfriend cardigan (which is now on SALE) is generous sizing too.

My personal goal today was to do a workwear type post, something for the ladies who go in to the office. Seems like I’m unpredictably cold, so adding this vest is great for situations like that in an office.

I’m not a pumps girl. I opt for ankle boots when I’m able. So, these Lands’ End booties are GREAT for when I have to dress up…business attire. Also, don’t you feel like accessories take a look to the next level? I have had these earring for the longest time, and I wear them all the time! I recently added the necklace to my jewelry from my friend who sells Premier. It’s my fav this season too!
