I love watching my little guy play! He’s running around chasing our dog, he’s climbing up hills/steps/slides, he’s squatting down looking at tiny bugs, he’s flinging mud and chasing butterflies… he’s a boy on the move! As much as I would love for him to play barefoot all the time, that is not always possible or safe. Those rubber boots they make for kids just clap agains his tiny calves making me laugh as I watch him run around swinging his legs to the side to get enough clearance to lift the boot!
MyMayu probably did the same thing I just did. By watching her children run around in “clod-hopper” boots (just sounded like my mom a bit there! haha), she decided there HAD to be something better and sought to make a product that would allow kids the freedom to play!
MyMayu kid boots are amazing. They are made from a soft waterproof fabric that allows your child to bend, splash and play the way children were designed to play. These boots are not fully waterproof because the seams are not sealed, but they are great for jumping in puddles and playing in the rain 🙂 With two “bungee” type closers, you are able to fit the boot to your child’s size, and because the fabric is soft, it is fully collapsible and easy to transport for those times where you wish you had some play boots!
It also helps that the boots are really cute! Bright primary colors and fun designs makes these boots adorable.
The boots I received came with fleece liner inserts. These are really great for keeping the toesies warm while playing in the snow/colder weather. The ONLY possible downside to these boots is the fact that these liners come out most times I take the boots off my son’s feet. Now that the weather is warmer though, we don’t need the liners 🙂
So check out MyMayu and let your child roam free! 🙂

April 28, 2015 at 12:15 amThese boots would be perfect for my tiny footed early walking 9.5 month old. I have just been looking for boots for her and don’t think she will be able to walk in any of the clunky regular rubber ones so these look amazing.

April 21, 2015 at 12:14 amMy son loves being outside, and I never want weather to be a reason she can’t. So great to see innovative products like this that won’t stop her from crawling around on wet grass, or exploring wet leaves and puddles in the park.
Thanks for the chance!
