double or nothin’ by all the wire :: review

I love pieces of jewelry with meaning behind it. I was searching for the perfect phrase to put on my Double or Nothin’ necklace from All the Wire, and immediately thought of the special people in my life. It began with thinking about my husband, my son, my parents, siblings ,and then went on from there. I think about how God gives us the people we need for different seasons of life as well as the people he gives us for many seasons of life. I settled on the phrase “God gave me you” and the phrase was so fitting for so many people. I start with my husband. I think about this journey of life we are on, and I think that God truly gave him to me for the highs and lows of life and everywhere in between. I think about my little guy too, and even though he’s not even a year old, I can barely remember life without him and consider him truly one of God’s greatest gifts in my life. My mom, my dad, my sister, my brothers, and so many more people have been by my side through so many amazing times, and I truly can say about each one that “God gave me you.” I wear this necklace and am thankful for what it reminds me of. The people in our lives are huge blessings, and I do my best to not take a day for granted.
