Are you keeping your ears open for Christmas gift ideas? Follow the hastag #asimplechristmas for our favorite toys on The Simple Moms. If you know any kiddos that love Super Wings, I have two toys to talk about from Alpha Toys that recently launched. My youngest is 4 and he lit up when we opened up the box and found Super Wings™ Super Robot Suit and Super Wings™ Takeoff Tower. Did you know that you can watch Super Wings on Amazon Prime, NBC Sprout, or the Super Wings YouTube channel?
I appreciate self-contained toys. Toys that come with too many pieces that will inevitably get separated don’t last long at my house. I know, I’m a toy scrooge, but I can’t handle toys that are missing pieces or are hard to keep together. The Super Robot Suit and Takeoff Tower are both toys that have many functions, but fold back up into themselves and can be stored neatly. Takeoff Tower even has a cute handle on the top so you can carry it to Grandma’s house or wherever. He opens up into an airport with just an easy press of a button. Inside is an airplane full of adventure just like the Super Wings show!
The Robot Suit is much like a transformer. There are 4 different configurations. The button on the front has different sounds each time you push it and it also has a working ladder and wheels . The firetruck seems to be the favorite form. Then they can drive the toy around. Do you see the instruction manual in the bottom corner of the photo above? We had to refer to it a few times to figure out how to get to the next configuration. The challenge was fun for my older kids and it was sweet to watch them help out their little brother. It also comes with a 5” Transforming Jett figure that fits in the cab and can ride along in both vehicle and bot mode!
I will leave you with this stocking stuffer idea. Transforming Jett, the 5 inch figure was fun to fiddle with. Especially if you are a young boy. In 10 steps you can convert Jett from plane to robot mode (and back!).
Look for all the different characters.
