amazon + Christmas shopping :: affordable ideas for everyone on your list

Christmas is coming quickly. Are you scrambling to buy gifts? I have some ideas to share and all these items are products I have purchased and can vouch for. They are all affordable ideas as well! I’m adding Amazon affiliate links and my comments throughout the post to help you as you do your last minute shopping.

Boys & Boys at Heart

We love our Syma Helicopter and don’t forget to add AmazonBasics AA Batteries (48-Pack) for all your Christmas battery needs. The remote takes 6 batteries, but they last a long time. The helicopter charges via usb. My son (8 years old) got this for his birthday this past summer and he LOVES it. Add a landing pad for even more fun. The landing pad is overpriced in my opinion, but he does love to play with it. I’ve bought quite a few more of these helicopters for my nephews (ages 10 & 12) and my brothers (in their 20’s & 30’s) have requested one for Christmas too!

Can’t afford a GoPro camera? Yeah, me either. This Gear-Pro is a cheaper version and it’s a great buy! We took so many underwater videos, sports and rec clips, etc. It’s durable and fun.

Girls

We love these Leveret matching pj’s. They are great quality and wash well. They have a good size range for girlies ages 2-10. Aren’t they so cute?

There are so many cute doll clothes on Amazon. Take a peek if you are buying for a little girl who has an American Doll or Our Generation doll.

Kids Books

These are the most hilarious books you will ever read! The Day the Crayons Quit is the first book. I laugh so hard every time I read this and more importantly the kids love it too. The Day the Crayons Came Home is an equally hilarious sequel.

My favorite winter book to read to the kids is The Snowglobe Family. The kids started enjoying this book around age 2 and they still love it at ages 6 and 8.

Ladies

The Infinity Pro Straightener is salon quality and a good price. I used this baby almost every day and I use it on my daughter’s hair on the lower heat settings.

I guess I have an infinity theme here. I love to give and receive infinity scarves. You can never have too many.

 

Gentlemen

This 6 port USB charger is the bomb! It charges your devices FAST because it’s 6 amps and when the device is done charging it knows to stop charging. My brother in law is a techy guy and he went bonkers over this gift. It’s the best price you will find for the juice it has to offer. We keep ours in our room and it charges the ipad, phones, ipods, and even the helicopter mentioned above. I got another one for my parents. Every home could use at least one of these charging stations.

Every home can benefit from having this handy dandy screwdriver. It’s a must-have for the junk drawer.
