Excuse me while I have a sentimental moment. It feels like yesterday that Jack was helping me with my first reviews on the blog. I blinked and a decade flew by. I’m also feeling humbled to still be writing on The Simple Moms for all these years.
We still use our Kleenslates board in our school and at home!
Jack just turned 15 and he’s over 6 feet tall. He’s growing up in every way, but still gets put to work on the blog. 🙂
This summer he opened his first bank account, worked at camp for a few weeks, got his boaters permit, and is embracing the joys of privileges that come with a new age. I’m extremely happy for him and watching him develop into a functioning human being is exciting.
I realized when his debit card arrived, he didn’t have a wallet besides his Ninja turtle Velcro wallet he got when he was 4. He certainly had enough social awareness to know that wasn’t cool. My husband was able to use his Andar phone case wallet and Jack borrowed, for the short term, his dad’s Andar Apollo Wallet.
