We just got back from a week down in southern California and it was HOT!!!! We took two kids in casts to Disneyland, walked 10+ miles a day, and got all kinds of sweaty on our adventure. I had no idea how timely this review would be when I threw the Arm & Hammer body and foot spray into my backpack as a last minute thought.
I abuse dry shampoo, it’s just too easy to avoid a wash and blow dry. The invisible body spray is like dry body wash! Don’t worry, I didn’t skip any showers, but our whole family is obsessed with this spray.
First of all, two of our children have broken bones. That means we have two stinky casts. Before our trip we were using the body spray to freshen up their casts. It’s sweat activated so we did our best to get it to sweaty places. It leaves no white mess so it didn’t matter if it got on the cast too.
Secondly, I have a 10 year old boy with growing feet that get quite stinky. We have all been appreciating the foot spray. It controls sweat and absorbs moisture. For whatever reason, my youngest has an obsession with the foot spray and I catch him freshening up his feet on a regular basis. His precious chubby feet aren’t stinky to his “sMother”, but he likes to use it anyway.
I’ve saved the best use for last. We got so hot and sweaty walking around Disneyland, but we had a secret weapon to stay fresh. When we would take water breaks, we also sprayed ourselves down with the body spray. Odors went away, the spray smells so clean, and we felt refreshed and cooled off. It was almost as good as showering the sweat and stink away after a long hot day. I can’t take credit for comparing it to dry shampoo for your body. My niece came up with this perfect description.
If you have sweat issues, stinky feet, or need to freshen up after a workout so you can do some errands, make sure you pick up some Arm & Hammer invisible body powder. Be sure to bring it on your summer vacations too.

July 3, 2018 at 11:16 pmI like the tip of planning all travel for when the kids and or babies take their naps and at night time. It got us through a nine hour drive once. there were 5 adults so we had plenty of people to drive in shifts.

July 3, 2018 at 10:17 pmOh but I so wanted to use the underwear tip 😂… just kidding! My best tip is to plan ahead and check online and such for coupon deals. I also find it helpful to download different apps because they have coupons on them a lot of times. One thing we did recently when we went on vacation was using restraunt apps to save money or get freebies. There is also several gas station apps that usually offer freebies or coupons.

July 3, 2018 at 5:09 pmOur favorite Disney/travel tip is to put everything that comes into the park with us in clear ziplock baggies, this way if it rains, or gets wet for any reason, it’s waterproof and when going through security they can see right through & don’t have to dig in your personal belongs too much. It also helps to keep your backpack organized.

June 29, 2018 at 10:08 amOne thing we always do, when available, is if the place we are at sells balloons, we buy one for each of our kids. Then we tie the balloon around their wrist. It makes them easy to spot if they break away because you see that Dora balloon bouncing ten feet away, where without it they would be hard to spot.

June 28, 2018 at 11:15 pmWe bought one of those Cooler water jugs ( insulated) and filled it with ice cold water every morning. Then as we drove and emptied our water bottles, we would just top them off. No spending money on disposable water bottles, no big cooler to keep all those bottles cold, no waste created, etc. It was so easy!

June 28, 2018 at 2:37 pmWell, it depends if a road trip or trip on a plane. But either way, I look for local deals and discounts on restaurants, hotels etc… Also, I have a fund for spare change, which I take to a Coinstar machine and then exchange for gift cards which can be used nationally towards my vacation or take the cash and purchase a gift card for a fast food national chain restaurant, which I then use during my vacation. It cuts back on the meals cost quite a bit, and when used with discounts found locally in the area I am going to it stretches the savings even more.

June 25, 2018 at 3:43 pmMy tip for vacation is to have a master list of what needs to be packed and go over it one last time before leaving so nothing gets forgotten. Also when we go to a busy public place, we always have a “meeting spot,” in case we get separated.
Ginny
June 25, 2018 at 5:34 pmI also am a big fan of the master list. I love your tip about a meeting place. Very smart!

June 23, 2018 at 11:21 amI have three children, so when I pack for a trip, I put together a full outfit for each child for each day inside a ziplock bag. Each day, I just hand each child a bag and they have everything they need. Bonus: I can squeeze a lot of the air out of the bags so they fit better in the suitcase. It’s not wasteful because we reuse the bags for non-food purposes after we return home.
Ginny
June 23, 2018 at 1:25 pmThis is an awesome tip! Thanks!

June 20, 2018 at 12:29 amMy biggest tip is to stay in a hotel that offers a free hot breakfast. That’s a must for us, and that breakfast carries us through our day, saving us money and time–that’s like gold on vacation!

June 19, 2018 at 8:25 pmA binder with freezer bags (use a hole punch on the baggies) is a great place to keep snack bars, important papers, etc.
This only works if you are using a stroller with a basket to keep it in though.
Ginny
June 20, 2018 at 1:50 amOhhhhh, this is brilliant. I have never heard this one. My sister in law gave me a tip to pack a box of ziplock baggies cuz you never know when you might need them. She was right. We used them to fill with ice from the hotel because we didn’t have a freezer to keep our ice packs frozen.

June 19, 2018 at 5:57 pmWhen my son went on vacation this year with his grandparents, I made a list of what to pack for him. To make it easier for him to pack up to come home, I packed his list in his suitcase. It really helped for a teenager.

June 19, 2018 at 1:03 pmThis product sounds amazing! I also abuse dry shampoo, so if there is something like that for my body…I am in! One of my tips is to pack lots of snacks on vacation to save money on expensive drinks and treats.
Ginny
June 20, 2018 at 1:53 amNice to meet another abuser of dry shampoo! 🙂 I’m with you on the snacks. I would rather eat glass then buy an expensive bag of starburst at a gas station stop. 🙂 We had a great snack bag for the car that we brought into Disneyland too.
