“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Kenwood Vineyards. I received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”
Boom! And just like that, you are probably thinking about what will be served NEXT WEEK at your family’s Thanksgiving dinner. Are you hosting it or are you going to someone else’s home for this year’s festivities? Whether you are hosting or going to someone’s home, chances are you will have a drink either there or you will bring something as a hostess gift. For me, when my children are around, I don’t typically have more than a glass of wine. However, that glass of wine needs to be killer. Like, SO delish! I just enjoy a great glass of wine, as so many others do as well! This year, we have a new brand in the house! It’s Kenwood Vineyard, have you head of it?
We were sent three bottles of wine. Just last week I had my neighbor over for a girl’s night and we were able to try each one. Not a FULL glass of each one, because I would probably still be lying on the floor. Ha! But we were able to taste them all and I’m excited to share with you that they were super smooth and a brand I would totally buy AND recommend. My mom is a big Pinot Noir fan, so I am saving that bottle for her on Thanksgiving. The other two the rest of my family will totally enjoy! I don’t know about you, but we tend to find ourselves sitting around and talking about life and where we have been and what are plans are from here on Thanksgiving. I don’t know what it is, maybe the name that brings out that spirit in us. I find myself getting sappy and thinking of all the little things, and to be honest, I love feeling that way! I try my hardest to cherish every single day…because let’s be honest, we just aren’t sure when our last breath will come, do we? Living a life to the fullest with my favorite people around me. That’s what the holidays and Thanksgiving are to me!
WhyHunger is a movement centered on ending hunger and poverty through connecting people. Connecting them how you may ask? Connecting people to “nutritious, affordable food and supporting grassroots solutions that inspire self-reliance and community empowerment. In the spirit of giving back, Kenwood Vineyards, a sustainable winery established in Sonoma Valley, will make a $25,000 donation to WhyHunger.” And how does that involve you? Well, Kenwood Vineyards is matching donations to the WhyHunger charity. And there ya go! {You can read more about that HERE}. I know that I am just so busy with all the little people running my life these days. I eel like my efforts go unnoticed…that is, until I am able to take part is something big. If everyone does a little something, that eventually adds up to something big. That’s what I’m talking about!
What they do is simple. Yet, it leaves a lasting impact on the people it touches. What can you do in your area with the same effect? I know that while researching for this campaign, it sure opened up my eyes to the possibilities that are local to me. It just really got me thinking!
Well, after all this, I would love to know what you think? First, have you heard of this brand before or tried it? Do you like it? Second…talk to me about the WhyHunger campaign!! I’d love to hear from you!!

November 23, 2014 at 2:04 pmI have not heard about this brand, but I love that they use natural soil amendments and pest controls rather than chemicals! I love that they are matching the donations for the WhyHunger campaign. I agree, with you, if everyone did something small, then it adds up to something big! Locally, I love giving to local food drives! Thank you!
