If you have ever dealt with eczema, it’s a very touchy, and itchy situation.  I have only had it a few times in my life and thankfully it didn’t last a long time.  However, most people have to deal with this way longer than I did.  I lucked out.  I have recently found a solution that has worked on two important people in my life.  Did you know that Aveeno has a line specifically designed to help with this skin condition?  Did you know that October is National Eczema Awareness Month?  I sure didn’t, but on that note, let’s talk about the AVEENO® Eczema Therapy products that can help with it!

I received the baby collection as well as the collection you can use on adults.  My dad has been suffering eczema for many, many years now.  He has always said if he could find something simple, something that wasn’t a ton of steps, he could stick to the regimen of clearing his condition up.  Overall, he has been very happy with this product, although he hasn’t used the bath/soak yet. 🙂  This is not “sold” as a whole system. You can purchase this all independent of each other, which is so nice since products run out at different times.

We also received the baby line.  We have a wash, a bath solution in addition to the cream.  Now let me tell you about it 🙂

The product on the side is the magic for me.  The Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream.  Honestly, the cream alone has helped me clear up the eczema that was on my daughters thighs and outer arms.  I have been using this once a day for less than 2 weeks now, and to say it’s almost gone, makes me want to jump up and down!  She has dealt with this for quite some time. I’m sure it bothered me more than her, but it’s so nice to have a product that I feel is less “toxic” than many others…that’s working!  It is oatmeal based, versus acidic, etc…and to me that says so much!

The scent is awesome, because there isn’t one!  I just can’t stand the smell of of the products on the market.  It’s not a think, tacky formulation.  It’s fairly smooth and doesn’t leave a lot of gunk on the skin after it’s use.

The last thing I want to share with you is about the oatmeal ingredient.  I mentioned it above, but the AVEENO® Eczema Therapy product formulations contain ACTIVE NATURALS® Colloidal Oatmeal. This is known for it’s hydrating, soothing and protective benefits.  It also helps alleviate itching!
