Once my kids discovered the HighFive Naturals Silicone Molds hiding in our kitchen, everything has been requested to be in the shape of building bricks and figures. And who can blame them? Pretty much everything is more fun in the shape of LEGOs!
Also…they bust out singing an endless rendition of “EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!!!!” each and every time! Super fun right there 🙄
As a mom, I appreciate all the technical aspects of the HighFive Naturals molds. After all, they hit all the bullet points of what makes us moms feel good about a product ::
- BPA Free 100% Food Grade Silicone
- Durable
- Flexible (which is important when it comes to everything you’ll use these for)
- Reusable (eco-friendly and budget-friendly)
- Temperature resistant from -40 to 450°F (again, great for a variety of projects)
- East to clean! (can I get an AMEN?)
- Super affordable!
But the kids could care less about all that! They just love that they can create fun LEGO-style building bricks and figures out of practically anything! And when I say “anything”, I truly mean it! Here are just 8 ways my kids have already used the HighFive Naturals Silicone Molds ::
- Ice cubes — both from water and juice. Although it’s a bit odd to have a little LEGO figure floating around in your ice water.
- Candy — So easy to make little chocolate bricks!
- Jello Jigglers — We did these just yesterday and I had to hear over and over again, “Mom! I decapitated my LEGO jiggler!” It’s a regular comedy house over here!
- Homemade fruit gummies — We like this simple recipe from BabyGizmo.
- Homemade crayons — We shared an easy Crayon DIY for Valentine’s Day last month. Same process, just using these molds instead. And they are adorable!!
- Homemade bath bombs — If you think having a LEGO minifigure floating around your ice water is fun, you should see the kids go crazy when they have a LEGO minifigure fizzing up their bathtub!
- Play doh — Or any of those indoor sands and “doughs”. But we found the minifigure molds to work best with these.
- Modeling clay — Same concept as the play-doh but my older daughter was figuring out fun ways to make her own LEGO style necklace charms. YAY for creativity!
Of course the kids are already dreaming up other ways to use these molds. Ok, truth be told…so am I! I’m going to use them later this week to make some fun kid-friendly soap! {I’m such a geek!}
And you could really go all-out using the HighFive Naturals molds for a LEGO themed birthday party! Not only could you use them to make LEGO style cake decorations out of chocolate or fondant, but you can use them to make your own goody-bags for the kids to take home.
Because HighFive Naturals products are sold through Amazon, they are super easy to purchase! In each packet you’ll get four silicone molds — a blue mold that makes 8 Minifigures, a red mold that makes 10 bricks, a yellow mold that makes 7 bricks of various sizes, and a green mold that makes one large Minifigure and 4 small Minifigures.
For other fun products from HighFive Naturals, be sure to check them out on Facebook!
What ways would you use the HighFive Naturals Silicone Molds? I’m thinking some fun Easter Basket treats are in order!
Also, I’m totally sorry about getting that song stuck in your head but…..EVERYTHING IS AWESOME WHEN YOU’RE PART OF A TEAM!
You’re welcome.
