FYI….if you don’t like meat or don’t like to see raw meat, this post includes before and after pictures.
We recently purchased 1/3 share of a grassfed cow from a local butcher. Oh my gee! It is some of the yummiest beef I have had in my entire life.
We also recently moved in to a home and wanted to have a little dinner and say “thank you” to my family for helping out with the move and watching the kids. Soooo, obvious our choice for the menu was BEEF! Party of 10, coming right up!
I don’t know about you, but I get overwhelmed with the bajillion choices you can make out there. You can go anywhere to find recipes, but you always wonder if it will taste good. We found a definite winner with our recipe, and I wanted to share my sources with you.
First of all, did you know that there is a fabulous website out there for all things beef? Yuppers, there sure is. Ready for this? It’s a tricky one….
This site offers recipes, tips, information on beef and more. The recipe we chose was just scrumptious! One of the fun parts about it, my hubby and I were able to prepare it together – from start to finish. I just love doing things with him 🙂
We chose the Grilled Ribeye Steak and Potatoes with Smokey Paprika Rub.
Sounds pretty fancy doesn’t. Well let me tell you. We spent HOURS upon HOURS preparing it. Ha! Totally joking, this fabulous meal was a snap!! Check out the recipe linked above or you can go direct HERE. Seriously though, so simple and just delicious. My kids ate it all right up – even the little one!Another fancy dancy thing on the beefitswhatsfordinner.com website is this awesome infographic. It tells a lot about what you need to know about preparing beef. My husband and I learned a couple things actually 🙂And you can’t forget the drinks. Our Skinny Girl Cocktails were a great compliment 🙂Entertaining is just great because you can spend memorable time with family and friends. And to be surrounded by amazing family and friends is a gift. Food is just a benefit. But when you have good food like what we served, it is a MAJOR benefit 🙂
How would you like to prepare your next been meal? Head over HERE, come back and tell me what one looks yummy to you!
