As you know, I have a fabulous Elliptical from Smooth Fitness. It’s so fabulous, my husband has been using it more than I have this summer!! Sad, but I’m glad someone has used it, and he is loving it. His summer schedule has been so busy with work, I love that we have this in our home so he can exercise and sweat some stress off. The wonderful thing about having a treadmill or an elliptical machine in your house, is you have less excuses. I mean, when you have a gym membership, you can use the excuse of it takes so much time to load the children in the car, drive there, unload the kids (all while hoping there are no meltdowns), work out, pack them back up and drive back home. Having this in our home has taken a good 1/2 hour to an hour out of the routine just explained. We often times use our machine before the kids get up or after they go to bed. Even better!
Look…there really is an elliptical back there – we are using it!! —–>>>>
How has your summer schedule, including your work out schedule, changed from normal? Please tell me I’m not the only one that has fallen off the work out wagon? 🙂
To get you pumped up to get out there, below you will find some of the other posts I have written in conjunction with this blog post series. Enjoy and happy motivation to you!! 😉

August 25, 2013 at 10:59 amActually, I’m glad to find it’s not just ME! I was sick (some odd “virus” that no one could explain) for about 6 weeks at the beginning of the summer…then a friend suffered a horrific accident that resulted in his death, so I kind of “got it together” to spend time with friends and organize an impromptu memorial…and then the following day (about 6 weeks ago), I woke up with severe pelvic pain that has plagued me ever since (I have good days and bad, and really bad)…so my summer was a total bust. No vacation, not even a day at the beach, which stinks, since it’s only about 90 minutes away. 🙁 But it’s a total bummer having to spend the majority of my summer on the couch or in bed. I hope 2014 is better!
