I think many momma’s out there agree that we could use a little more sleep every night! Restless nights with little sleep start during pregnancy and I’m not quite sure when they end! I actually have to say I’ve been blessed with good little sleepers overall, but somehow still sleep is not the same as it once was! My kids usually don’t have an issue with the going to sleep, but they are early risers, and many mornings I know that their bodies could use a little more sleep than the 6 am awake time!
I started using this amazing clock, My Tot Clock, with my 3 year old and it’s the perfect solution to those early morning wake ups. Most mornings he wakes up between 5:30-6 and could use another hour or two to be completely rested. The Tot Clock gives a visual of this, showing that it’s not time to get up until the clock changes colors! This has helped him stay in his bed and fall back asleep rather than get out of bed to come downstairs to start the day too early.
There are so many other fun features to the clock too! We love the soothing music and the story time options before bed and nap time. It has settings for timeouts, timed naps, and so much more! You can change the face plate to match different rooms. If we ever switch it over to our daughters room, I’d love to order a pink princess cover to match her room!
One other feature that is so great for kids, is that all the settings buttons are hidden under the face plate. This makes it so easy to set, but is not easily reset by little ones.
Sleep is so important for every member of the family! Our babies need sleep to grow the way they should and to keep them their happy little selves. Momma’s need sleep too, and so often that depends on the amount of sleep the little ones in the house are getting.
I love the idea of an easy way to help my toddler get the sleep he needs, and I’m thankful for the Tot Clock for his room.

May 21, 2017 at 1:19 pmI would say Carter’s biggest problem with sleeping is not wanting to sleep alone and wanting to cuddle all the time. It’s really not too big of a problem except that when he cuddles, the room temperature feels like it goes up to swelter temperatures. He really cranks out the heat.

May 18, 2017 at 3:57 pmFortunately, we don’t have too many issues. The biggest problem is that Tegan sometimes wakes up and gets out of bed by herself.

May 8, 2017 at 1:36 pmMy biggest sleep issue is my kids fighting about going to sleep. It’s either they are thirsty, hungry, hot, cold or any combination of these. Or they’ll argue that the sun is still out so they can’t sleep yet.
