I totally remember watching the first live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies when they hit theaters in the early ’90s. {It’s ok to admit that, right?} Like most things in the 90s, they ran their course and faded out of view {or back to the sewers?}. But, like some of the best things from the 90s, Mikey, Donnie, Leo, and Raph have made a comeback! And now, 20ish years later, all I hear about from my son is TMNT!
Of course my son thinks it’s absolutely hilarious that I know all of the characters and their personalities. Definitely winning major “cool-mom” points with him on this! Especially when we’re playing with the newest Playmates Toys’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy line based on the newest TMNT movie release — Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows!
