Whether we like it or not, soon the snow will be falling here and cold temps will keep us bundled up inside more often than not. {But you can bet that, until then, we’re soaking in every ounce of sunshine and warm weather!} So the kids and I are gathering fun project ideas for those wintery days. Seriously, the kids think Pinterest is the coolest thing ever!
One project my oldest daughter is super interested in trying is Origami. And, I’ll be honest, I have zero Origami experience. Unless cootie-catchers count. Because my middle-school self can whip up cootie-catchers all day long!
Since her enthusiasm over my cootie-catcher skills was pretty short-lived, both of us are super excited to dive in to this very fun book:
Honestly, I always assumed all Origami was 3D but this book brought upon a whole new idea of Origami! 3D Origami Fun! walks you through, step by step, how to create amazing creations with paper folds!
From an array of adorable little creatures to cupcakes that look good enough to eat, the 25 different projects in 3D Origami Fun! will have you and your kids forgetting all about the bitter cold outside. Or you can just create some of the fun little beach and sea creatures and pretend you’re somewhere else that’s a little warmer and sunnier. {It’s worth a shot!}
Available in paperback and filled with great instructions and colorful photos, 3D Origami Fun! would make for a great gift for preteens and teens this Christmas!
You can find 3D Origami Fun! on Amazon.com and through various booksellers!
