Any new mama you talk to will tell you, having a good glider rocker is essential to surviving the baby/toddler years! I feel like I have lived in a glider rocker since my oldest was born 3 1/2 years ago. To be honest we got the blue light special to save money; and while I was thankful to have it, it really was quite uncomfortable, and a bit small to be functional while trying to nurse a baby or rock a restless teething toddler.

The BrylaneHome glider rocker could not have come at a better time. My youngest is teething those awful canine teeth and up in the night at least once for comfort. And while she is awake she is happiest rocking with me while we read books. I certainly would have loved to stay in my bed all night the last few nights but being so much more comfortable in this rocker has made it much more tolerable!
We are done with nursing at this point but I can see where the extra room in the chair would be nice while trying to nurse a newborn with a pillow or blankets. I love love love the side pockets too! I have books, a sippy of water, and teething rings in them now. I can tell it would be nice to keep burp cloths and extra nursing items with an infant as well. I plan to transition the rocker out to the living room once we are done with the baby years. It coordinates with our furniture nicely and is comfortable.
