Have you heard of CaringBridge? I know it all too well. My pastor has lymphoma cancer. CaringBridge was a great resource to let everyone know how he was (and is) doing through the lows and highs of his diagnosis, treatment, etc. (He’s doing great right now, praise the Lord!) I’m our church secretary so there were a few times that I would get a text update from his wife and I was able to update CaringBridge for them. It’s like a modern day prayer chain that gets blasted out via the internet all over the world.
CaringBridge is a great way people can encourage and give hope to those who have a page. Hope Conquers All by Sona Mehring is a book of many inspiring stories. Sona created the first CaringBridge page back in the late 90’s when her friend was going through a life threatening pregnancy. It’s amazing what beautiful and selfless things people do for those who are ill. There are also many inspiring stories of people battling some major medical trials. I’d encourage you to pick up your copy of Hope Conquers All!
