The Sholdit is basically a scarf that functions as a purse. While it can be worn in many different ways (and even folds into a clutch), the concept is the same. The scarf contains one or more zippered compartments to hold your stuff. I use mine to carry my phone, a credit card, cash and keys when I’m out and about without my purse. I can even fit my son’s epi-pen in there if he is joining me!
I’m sure you’re wondering how much you can put in the Sholdit. That partially depends on what type of Sholdit you buy. There are options for one or two zippered pouches. I was surprised at how much the Sholdit actually holds! First, let’s talk my phone. I have an iphone in a huge Otterbox case. The phone alone takes up a fair amount of space in my purse. In the Sholdit with two pouches, I can hold my phone, my keys, money and credit cards, my sons epi-pen and even a chap stick–and there is certainly enough room for one or two more things! I was also a little unsure of how the scarf would hang with all of that extra weight in it. The pictures I’ve posted are of a full Sholdit–packed with all of my essentials. It took me a few tries to figure out how to tuck everything in and Sholdit has some helpful videos on their website as well.
Sholdit now carries a polar fleece gaiter. How perfect is that for winter wear? I’m adding it to my wish list now. What a great way to carry cash and necessities while skiing or going for a winter run. When would you love to have a Sholdit?
