With two young girls in my house I am surprised to say that we missed the first two Car’s Life series but have jumped on board with the newest release in the series, Car’s Life 3: The Royal Heist, from Entertainment One.
Not sure what to expect, beyond the obvious car theme, I was impressed enough by the fact that the movie was Dove “Family Approved” to give it a try. After watching the movie for the first time my girls promptly requested a repeat back-to-back showing, and that was when I knew it was a kid-approved hit as well.
While screening Car’s Life 3: The Royal Heist I was impressed to see how they worked in lessons about cooperation, teamwork, honesty, and communication into the story line. All my kids cared about was watching the entertaining movie, but I was glad to know it was appropriate material for both my 3-year-old and 5-year-old daughters.
Here’s a brief description of the movie ::
Sparky, the high-spirited sports car, is back and ready for his biggest adventure ever… Queen Limousine is coming to town to attend a charity drag race, and everyone’s caught royal fever, even Sparky. But the excitement turns to dread when the queen’s jewels go missing, and every car becomes a suspect. In CARS LIFE 3: THE ROYAL HEIST, join the world’s favorite little red sports car on a turbocharged whodunit adventure that packs more hairpin turns than an Alpine speedway – and a shocking final twist that no one sees coming!
If you’re looking for some kid-friendly summer entertainment to have on hand for a rainy day, a family movie night, or when you just plain need a moment of quiet I recommend checking out Sparky and the rest of the cars in Car’s Life 3: The Royal Heist.
