In Volume 1 of Joe Journeyman, follow Joe and his friends through 16 cities in the NFL. In each city you have to find Joe and his friends along with their playbook and lots of other wacky items. The artwork in the book is fantastic–colorful, fun illustrations that highlight each NFL city. The best way I can describe this is that it’s like Where’s Waldo for football fans. My 7 and 9-year-old son and daughter have been having a blast with this book (and, admittedly, my husband and I don’t mind when they need a little help because we like the challenge, too). They like to challenge each other to see who can find more items first, who can solve a page the fastest and what is the funniest thing on each page. My son is a huge football fan. My daughter doesn’t care at all. But they still both really enjoy this book. They’ve decided to keep it in the car so they can work on it while we’re on the go.
Another fun Joe Journeyman product is the NFL puzzle. We got the Detroit Lions puzzle (they are a very close second to the Panthers. Go Lions!) This 500-piece puzzle is super challenging since the color scheme for the whole page is pretty similar. This is a great one for older children or adults–or for children and adults to work on together. Thankfully my son loves puzzles almost as much as he loves football, so he is happy to have a fun, challenging puzzle to work on. There is also a poster and canvas for each team.
As a mom, I love it when a company supports a great cause. 10% of all net profits of Joe Journeyman products go to support “Joe’s Kids” (an Indiana-based pediatric rehabilitation facility) and local children’s hospitals.
