As much as we mommas love listening to kiddie music day in and day out, sometimes we just need some less ABC’s to preserve our sanity. The newest release from Chris August, The Upside of Down, is my current go-to album to take a break from all the kiddie-123 stuff on our musical rotation.
This is Chris August’s second album and having already been familiar with his debut album I was pretty excited to hear The Upside of Down in it’s entirety. Let me tell ya, I have not been disappointed!
While I really like first released single, Center of It, my favorite song from the album is 1989. As someone who actually did live through 1989 (yep, I’m that old) I appreciate this song about going back to having a child-like faith. Great song.
