cloak collection has you covered

As a mom who has nursed for years, I understand the dilemma of finding outfits that are easy to nurse in. Though my level of discretion has probably lessoned a little over the years due to necessity, I still desire to wear clothing that makes me and the people around me comfortable! So whether you are of the philosophy that there is no shame in baring it all or you are like me and feel more comfortable with a little cover, we are all just moms doing what we can for our babies.

Cloak CollectionCloak Collection understands that as moms on the go, we need outfits that are both functional yet stylish. I know that when my son was born, there were several shirts and dresses that were packed away for a couple years since there was no way for me to nurse in them. Dresses with zippered backs? An absolute no-no on Sundays! High necklines with cinched waists left me fumbling and awkward during feeding times. With Cloak Collection, they take your needs and turn them into fashion.

I had the opportunity to try “the maxi” dress. This dress comes in two pieces. the top layer being designed in such a way that you can lift it and easy “access the goods.” There are two pockets that are easy to stash those little trinkets you find your child throwing (like pacifiers). Functionality receives full marks in my book! Now for the style… I need to be a little honest about this dress. When I pulled it out of the bag I was uncertain about it. Even after trying it on, I felt that the dress was a little shapeless on my frame. BUT I went ahead and had my husband snap a few pictures anyways. As you can see from the pictures, this dress is pretty! It is a wonderful reminder to me to look through the eyes of those around me. It is so easy to critique yourself and be critical, but when looking at myself through the eyes of my husband (or lens), the dress is stylish, comfortable and functional!

With several different dress styles to choose from, the Cloak Collection will have you “covered” through all nursing phases… from casual to dressy!

It may not be the most fashionable dress in the world sometimes function over fashion has to win. It is a little shapeless but it doesn’t look bad on you and it looks very comfy.

That does not look like a nursing top, which makes it better than the nursing tops currently on the market.
