We have been in our house eight years this July and I have just now installed a clothes rack in my son’s closet. His clothes have been hanging in an amour closet. As you can see his clothes are getting too big to fit into his amour. I used an Amazon Gift Card to pay for the racks and only had to purchase the support tracks. As you can tell his closet is under the stairs so I have put a lot of thought into how to create a closet space for my son. Thankfully when we moved into our home he was an infant and hasn’t really needed a closet until now.
Now my son has a place for his summer and winter clothes that he can reach. I am still working on a shelving unit to fit under the stairs to organize his toys, but I was able to put a hanger for his book bags and hats. For now he will use the toy box for his Nerf Guns, but I am currently building a unit for his Nerf Guns.
As you can tell I did not have any system what so ever of organization for his closet and the toys were out of control. Now he will have a designated place to put everything so that he can become more organized and half of these toys will be going to a local thrift store for other children to enjoy.
I will be installing an accordion hat hanger for all of his hats, and this book bag hanger will only be used for all of his bags. Can’t wait until I finish his Nerf Gun unit he is going to be so surprised when he has an organized way to put all of his Nerf Guns away.
