It’s about that time I start looking through the cloth diapers I saved and researching for some new ones. I can’t resist an adorable cloth diaper. Researching online I found Simba & Mama – Little Lion Cub cloth diapers. I just knew I had to share these with you. The prints and packages are like no other. These can be found on Amazon as well.
About Simba & Mama
I was pregnant (and gave birth to my baby girl Simba) in Bali, Indonesia. I realized everyone used disposables, and the common practice is to burn all household rubbish by the roadside. I felt sickened by this, and wanted to do something different. However modern cloth diapers are not available in Bali. Luckily, family and friends donated them to us. We now live in Australia (I’m an Aussie) and for every Simba & Mama cloth diaper purchased, I am giving one to the local Balinese mothers. It is my way of giving back to a beautiful community that supported me in my time of need.
I can’t imagine not having access to cloth diapers. We are so lucky. Now, let me tell you about these diapers. They are one size diapers that will last you through birth to potty training from 8-36lbs. Although, my little model, since my isn’t here yet, is 42lbs and it fit her fine. I did lend out the diaper to a cloth diaper mama to test it out since I am not able to yet. She said it fit her little guy perfectly. She is new to cloth so it was nice to hear what she thought. She said her little guy stayed dry the whole time wearing it and it didn’t leak. Plus, what was nice is that he had a terrible diaper rash and with using the cloth diaper it went away! YAY, for cloth!
What comes with this cloth diaper bundle is pretty awesome. It comes with two microfiber inserts (a newborn insert and an adjustable one-size insert for your older baby), one reusable micro-fleece liner and one mini wet bag. This is perfect to get you started!
